What are Respiratory Allergies

Respiratory allergies can be caused by a number of allergens including pollen, dust, pet dander and other airborne contaminants.  As the name implies, the symptoms of respiratory allergies are confined to the respiratory system. Sneezing, coughing, runny nose, stuffy nose, and itchy, red, watery eyes are some of those symptoms.

Treatment of Respiratory Allergy

Avoiding the allergen is always the best choice. Cleaning your house, clothing, and body of the allergen is also a good idea. If symptoms manifest, antihistamine can be used to alleviate those symptoms. Consider using echinacea, a natural antihistamine.
