Constant Runny Nose
Cold, flu, sinusitis, and rhinitis can be the cause of a runny nose, but if you have a constant runny nose, then you are probably the victim of a respiratory allergy. Cough and runny nose are seen together in this type of allergy.
As with other allergies, the best treatment is to prevent contact with the causative allergen. To do this you need to identify it. Identification of the specific allergen can be difficult and an allergy specialist may be consulted to identify the cause.
Cold and flu medication that act as decongestants may be used to provide some relief. Antihistamines are widely used to alleviate allergy symptoms as well.
