  • Causes of Atopic Dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis is a genetic condition that makes your skin more prone to irritation. People with known allergies are diagnosed with it more often, and the condition may follow exposure to the substances that they are allergic to.

It has been discovered that some people suffer from this condition as a result of histamine intolerance. Getting rid of the histamine from their diet cures them.

    Treatment for Atopic Dermatitis

It is possible to treat the condition by applying a corticosteroid to the affected areas. Keeping your skin moisturized through the use of creams also helps it heal. Antihistamines can alleviate the itching.

A histamine free diet that excludes cheeses, cured meats, alcohol, and other fermented foods may help prevent the condition from flaring up.

    Home Treatment for Atopic Dermatitis

Cold compresses applied to the site of the reaction and cool baths can help relieve symptoms as well as hydrate the skin for better healing.
